Zomato's Healthy Subscriptions make meal planning effortless for health-conscious users
Zomato has launched a new feature called Healthy Subscriptions to simplify meal planning for health-conscious users. The service lets customers pre-select meals, schedule deliveries, and stick to nutritious choices without daily effort. It is now available in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, with plans for further expansion across India. The subscription model offers lunch or dinner plans for three, five, or 15 days. Users can browse a curated menu of dishes, each marked with a 'High' Healthy Score. These scores are generated by AI, analysing factors like protein density, fibre content, ingredient quality, and carb balance.
Before meals are finalised, subscribers retain flexibility. They can edit their selections, reschedule deliveries, update addresses, or cancel the plan entirely. Some dishes on the menu are exclusive to the subscription service, adding variety to the options. Zomato designed the feature to fit seamlessly into daily routines. By allowing advance planning, it removes the need for last-minute decisions while ensuring meals meet nutritional standards. The company aims to make healthier eating more accessible and convenient for busy users.
Healthy Subscriptions is currently limited to three major cities but will soon reach more locations. The service combines AI-driven nutritional insights with user-friendly controls for meal management. Subscribers gain a structured way to maintain balanced diets without sacrificing convenience.
